Doug Russell is the owner of Executive Team Leadership, LLC (ETL, LLC). Doug uses his 25 years of hands-on experience leading complex electronics product development and manufacturing teams to help ETL, LLC's customers create action-oriented solutions for their business needs.

TEAM COACHING

Typical teams might be 5 to 8 individuals, for example:

—Staff of a small business
—Division staff of a larger company
—Senior Manager's staff
—Project team of key functional managers
—Key members and manager of a sports team

ETL, LLC works with the individuals on the team in 1:1 sessions, as well as the overall team itself in an integrated "non-overhead" way to create a culture of integrity within the team. This culture is characterized by increasing transparency and accountability over time until the team approaches its peak performance. Doug uses assessments such as such as the Keirsey Type Indicator, Myers Briggs Temperment Indicator, Strengthfinders, Emotional Intelligence, and others to help the individuals gain knowledge of themselves and of each other. These assessments, along with tailored approaches that increase needed communication and accountability, drive trust. The overall effeciency of the team as a unit is thus improved.

Words like integrity, transparency, trust and accountability may sound "squishy" to some people. They are not. This is the same basic approach Doug used multiple times, in Motorola Inc, Signal Technology Corporation, Freescale Semiconductor, and Intel Corporation. It is based on actual positive implementations with manufacturing, design, and program management teams in government electronics and semiconductor companies with teams that had firm, hard goals.

Doug will work hand in hand with small business owners to provide solutions to their business needs.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

ETL, LLC's focus is on team coaching, but it is anticipated that a limited number of individual coaching relationships will be undertaken. Individual coaching would typically involve assessments such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strengthfinders, and Emotional Intelligence to help the client understand themselves better and to identify issues they want to improve on. Then ETL, LLC will work with those individuals to create and implement solutions to those issues.
