Guiding Principles
A key guiding principle of coaching is to help people help themselves move towards their goals in a way that allows them to feel better about themselves.
At the companies we have worked with over the years we have observed a great increase in the stress level and the number of hours required to do the job for both managers and individual contributors. It has gotten to the point that many long-term managers and engineers have told us they advise their children to not go into engineering.
We believe that our TACTILE MANAGEMENT™ approach of building a culture of integrity within the team will allow that team to move towards peak performance, and to get better output with fewer overall hours of work, in a less stressful environment. That is a mouthful, to say the least, and a big claim. But Doug has used this approach on multiple occasions with good success, and, with the right support and commitment, can do the same for your team or small company.
