Meet Doug Russell, President, Executive Team Leadership, LLC
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Doug has 25 years of hands-on experience inside project development teams for Intel, Motorola, Signal Technology, and the US Department of Defense.
Twenty years ago Doug was a classic command-and-control micromanager, but through experience (and a little theory) developed significant team building and leadership expertise for technical teams within semiconductor microprocessor design teams in baseband wireless, Power PC and ultra mobile PC areas; complex development projects in C4I and wireless tactical communications systems; encryption development and production projects; Engineering (EOE) models for significant engineering projects within US Army Warrior Systems; and a communications project for the US Space Shuttle program.
Doug held a variety of team leadership roles including profit and loss program manager, proposal manager, manufacturing manager, project engineer, manager of program managers, and Director of programs.
Doug's practice is based in Cedar Park, TX, a suburb of bustling Austin TX. While periodic site visits are anticipated, much of Doug's work with clients will be done over the telephone and the internet. In addition to Central Texas, other focus areas for Doug are the Carolinas, Arizona, Folsom CA and the DC Beltway/VA/MD.
